በአጠቃላይ ኮሚሽኑ ባደረገው ክትትል ለማረጋገጥ እንደቻለው ሰዎችን በቁጥጥር ስር በማዋል ረገድ የአስቸኳይ ጊዜ አዋጁ መተግበር ባለበት መንገድ በተለይም “የጥብቅ አስፈላጊነት፣ ተመጣጣኝነት እና ከመድልዎ ነፃ መሆን” የሚሉትን የሰብአዊ መብት መርሆዎችን ባከበረ መልኩ አለመተግበሩን ተመልክቷል።

Introducing #KeepWordSafe #ጤናማቃላት
The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) launched on November 20, 2021 a new social media hashtag called #KeepWordSafe (#ጤናማቃላት in Amharic). Designed to promote human rights sensitive content and discourse particularly on social media, the #KeepWordSafe hashtag means keeping oneself and others from “unhealthy” words. #KeepWordSafe encourages healthy discourses by ensuring that exchanges between individuals, communities and institutions focus on ideas and not on identities.

ኢሰመኮ የአምስት ዓመት ስትራቴጂ ዕቅዱን በይፋ አስተዋወቀ
የኢትዮጲያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ) በኅዳር 15 እና 16 ቀን 2014 ዓ.ም. በሚካሄድና መንግስታዊና መንግስታዊ ያልሆኑ ሀገራዊና ዓለም አቀፍ ባለድርሻ አካላት በተሳተፉበት ስብሰባ የኮሚሽኑን የአምስት ዓመት ስትራቴጂ እቅድ በይፋ አስተዋውቋል። ለባለፉት በርካታ ወራት ሰፊ አካታች ሂደት ሲዘጋጅ የቆየው ይህ የስትራቴጂ እቅድ ኮሚሽኑ ለቀጣይ አምስት ዓመታት ሊሰሩና ትኩረት ሊሰጣቸው ይገባል ብሎ የለያቸው ቁልፍ የውጤት መስኮችንና ዋና ዋና ተግባራትን አካቷል።

The report covers the period between July and August 28, 2021. Conducted until September 5, 2021, the investigation mission held 128 interviews and 21 focus group discussions (FGDs) with survivors, victims, local civil administration and security officials, Civil society organizations (CSOs) and humanitarian organizations.

Tigray conflict: Report calls for accountability for violations and abuses by all parties
The report covers the period from 3 November 2020, when the armed conflict began between the Ethiopian National Defence Force (ENDF), the Eritrean Defence Force (EDF), the Amhara Special Forces (ASF), the Amhara militia and Fano on one side, and the Tigrayan Special Forces (TSF), Tigrayan militia and other allied groups on the other, until 28 June 2021 when the Ethiopian Government declared a unilateral ceasefire.
